Basic Insurance Training Program which is the one and only underwriting expertise training program in Turkey beginning from 1973 is a long term training program (starting from October to the May or June)

Basic Insurance Training Program which is given by executives, specialists and academicians plays an important role to increase quality and efficiency of Turkish Insurance Sector by enabling basic insurance and insurance major subjects to the sector workers.

Basic Insurance Training Program are given in two semesters as Basic Insurance and Major Training. In second term, there are six majors which are “Fire and Engineering Insurance”, “Casualty Insurance”, “Marine Insurance”, “Accounting”, “Health Insurance” and “Life Insurance”.

First term of Basic Insurance Training Program continues starting from October to February and second term is starting from February to May.

For the first semester, the program has two periods of time as “Night” and “Daytime”. Daytime classes are between 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., night classes are between 5.00 pm. and 8.00 p.m. and these are planned as maximum three days a week.

Most of the classes are on weekdays; sometimes they are on weekends.
