The importance of information exchange among countries’ tax administrations has increased day by day. FATCA Agreement is setting ground rules to define the information exchange content and its suitable ways. It is signed by 66 countries -including Turkey- and USA.

The programme about the implementation which will be entering  into the force at the end of the September (2016) had never been organized specifically for insurance sector before.

This event was organized to make some concerns clear about FATCA Agreement. The Revenue Administration, Directorate of Foreign Relations and EU Affairs, Group Presidency of  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Erdem and Specialist Deniz Kayaalp were on the guest list of the TSEV.

The event was held in Milli Re Conference Room on September 26, 2016 and it took the insurance sector’s attention. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Erdem and Specialist Deniz Kayaalp made their presentations and then answered to the participants’ questions.
